Located on six floors surrounding the atrium area, the Kyoto Brighton’s 183 guestrooms are accessible by glass-walled elevators. All have purified, PH-balanced tap water suitable for drinking, and humidifiers for the drier fall and winter months. Guestrooms are outfitted with light wood furnishings and decorated in grays, tans, and other neutral colors. Beds are topped with down and cotton duvet covers; bedside switches control the guestroom lights. Sitting areas in each comprise small tables, chairs, and built-in sofas, which face cable TVs. Yukata (Japanese-style nightwear) can be found in the closets, along with slippers. Amenities available upon request include DVD, VCR, and CD players, fax machines, sewing kits, and hypo-allergenic pillows (surcharges for all).
